Great Myths of Internetworking
"Business Marketing" Award Winner
Targeted to network managers, this campaign destroyed the "great myths of internetworking."  The objective was to introduce 3Com's Boundary Routing System Architecture and two new router products.  A Great Reseller Internetworking Kit was shipped in a box containing sales collateral, slides, a training tape and disk (this was pre-CD era), SPIF and white paper offers. The campaign was translated into Chinese and Japanese for use in Asia.

Targeted to 20,000 MIS managers, this campaign received an outstanding 8.75% response rate. The objective of the campaign was to introduce the audience to workgroup switching, a new networking technology from 3Com. The campaign included three pieces: a school primer, a personal file folder and a typed report arriving in a simulated interoffice routing envelope.
